Everybody Learn Globish!

I enjoyed this article in the BBC and had to share. What do you think? Would it be like those Frenchies to try such a ploy? :)

And on a more serious note, I found this Mary Poppins article interesting as well.

Oh, Sarah, these are the types of things I stay up way too late to read.

Haha, I see! :)

There was a French movement I read about a long time ago, like in high school I think, about French kids saying French words backwards for slang. Can't remember what it's called. Just thought it was funny that they chose that way to be rebellious against l'Academie Francaise.

Oh, not entirely backwards, broken up backwards. Verlan, it's called. Those Frenchies!

You can read a couple of chapters of the real thing -- IN Globish -- in the new book Globish The World Over now at Globish.com or read reviews at Eyrolles publishers.
